Bawang Putih Bawang Merah is a popular folktale from both Indonesia and Malaysia. It’s a story about being kind and tolerate to one another in family.

I’m required to create a display typeface and sans serif typeface for a children picture book, Bawang Putih Bawang Merah. The main character is Bawang Putih, an honest, kind and friendly girl. Based on these characteristics, I used script typeface beacuse it is flowy and friendly which is suitable for children.
